The brush is made from food-grade platinum-cured silicone. It can be used on non-stick pans without damaging the coating, and on ceramic or glass without scratching. The flat back works as a squeegee for wiping water off countertops. A hang hole allows the brush to air dry quickly after use.
The silicone material has a temperature resistance range of -40°C to 230°C under laboratory conditions. This rating refers to material resistance, not a recommended continuous-use temperature. For everyday kitchen tasks, the brush can be used on warm or hot cookware surfaces, but brief contact with extremely hot surfaces is advised. Seven stock colors are available, and custom shapes or Pantone colors can be developed.
