Silicone drinking cups produced by INEEDS are available in straight-walled, collapsible, and handled designs, with capacities generally from 250ml to 500ml. The in-house mold shop supports custom profiles and Pantone color matching, and pre-production samples are provided for approval. Silicone Cup Sleeve and Silicone Ice Cube Tray items can be added to the same production batch for coordinated drinkware sets.
We make these cups in our Dongguan plant alongside Silicone Cup Sleeve and Silicone Ice Cube Tray. Quite a few buyers bundle all three together—cup, sleeve, and ice tray—so everything matches and ships from one place.
The standard lineup covers straight-walled tumblers from about 250ml to 500ml, collapsible cups that pack down to under 3cm thick, and handled mugs for hot drinks. Some versions have measurement marks molded in, others come with a rigid plastic rim to keep the mouth stable. If you need something different—like a cup with a built-in coaster base or a faceted outside wall—our mold shop handles it. The shop has 4 CNC centers and 5 milling machines; a new cup mold normally takes 7–12 working days before we ship a pre-production sample.
All our drinking cups use platinum-cured silicone. The main reason is neutrality: platinum-cured material doesn't leave a chemical smell or off-taste, which really shows up with hot coffee or tea. Peroxide-cured silicone can cost less, but it sometimes carries a faint odor that hot liquids amplify. We stick with platinum cure, so the cup tastes like nothing. The material also resists staining from tomato juice, turmeric lattes, and similar drinks; any slight tint that does show up usually comes out with a baking soda soak.
INEEDS (Xiamen Ineeds Silicone Gift Co., Ltd.) has been in silicone manufacturing for nearly ten years. The Dongguan factory runs over 75 automated machines—vacuum vulcanization presses stop air bubbles from forming in cup walls, which matters for both looks and strength. Fewer than 50 people run the whole operation: mixing, molding, trimming, inspecting, packing. When you place a custom order, we develop the mold, send a sample for sign-off, then move into production. Mass production usually takes 15–25 business days after approval. Need promotional items in the same shipment? We often consolidate drinking cups with Silicone Gifts like wristbands or luggage tags for brand campaigns.
Every batch is built to meet:
Inside the factory lab, we check raw silicone with a rheometer and tensile tester, measure dimensions on a 2D image projector, and run aging tests in a heat chamber. Every shipment goes out with batch test reports and a Declaration of Conformity if you need them.
We put logos on cups by debossing, embossing, screen printing, or color-fill. You can match Pantone colors for both the silicone body and the print. Custom packaging—individual boxes, hang cards, gift sets—is available too. MOQ for a new custom cup shape with its own mold starts around 1,000 pieces per color. If you use an existing stock shape and just add a logo, 500 pieces is usually doable. Blank samples are on hand for testing before you commit to tooling.
Do collapsible cups actually stay open, or do they fold while drinking?
They lock open with internal rings or stepped walls. You have to push down with some force to collapse them, so they won't buckle while you're sipping.
Can I put a silicone drinking cup in the microwave?
Yes, up to 230°C. It won't get hot spots like some ceramics, but it's best to stir halfway through heating for even warmth. Don't set it directly on a stove burner or heating element.
How fast can I get a custom cup with a multi-color logo?
Mold takes about 7–12 business days. After you approve the sample, production with multi-color screen printing runs around 15–25 business days. Sending finished artwork early helps move things along.
